we always hurt the ones we love the most because we know that they wouldnt mind it .we think that they wouldnt get hurt but sometimes they do get hurt.we think that they know us so well and the things we talk wouldnt matter to them because they would know that we didnt mean to do it

it's just my opinion, but i think it's because they are the easiest targets. you know them best, so you know the best way to hurt them. you harbor the most resentments toward them, as you are exposed to them more than other people. that sort of stuff.

Tend to feel more comfortable with someone you know, because you know their boundries. What they will and wont do.
