I am going to my boyfriends hometown for the first time and he is taking me to his favorite resturant. Its upscale New Orleans style. What should I wear?

business casual for any type of restaurant that is not jacket and tie is totally acceptable.
Dress would be acceptable to .
Most restaurants these days you see such a mix of people that either dress up or don't. I really think it is too bad.
Also as a point when I go to a nice place I pretend I'm getting dressed to go see my girlfriends parents for the first time...usually gives me a good idea.

Knee length boots, long skirt to the knees, and a cute sweater, that way its niceer than jeans and pants but not over the top!!! It would look nice.

a pair of nice jeans and perhaps a nice long sleeved blouse and a pair of pointy toed heels or flats with a slight heel and an elegant hair do.
