Depends on what you mean...
The movie versions derived from Bram Stoker's works? Such as Nosferatu or Bram Stokers Dracula (the movie)? Then not so much.
I do believe that there is an historical origin to the tales of vampires as vampires, like dragons, are mythologically present in almost all societies...
And of course - Vlad Tepes was a real historical figure, and his name was Dracula (meaning little dragon...)...
So the basis of Bram Stoker's story has historical value.
Peace,
-dh

the whole theme vampire came from the very real vampire BAT. the whole sucking of the blood and only flying at night came from the bat. vampire bats wll feast on a larger animals blood while it is sleeping. ad are pratically terrified o the daytime. so no, vampires never ever existed.

I don't believe in them, but I have seen plenty of spoiled kids in school who think they are. Anyhow, the vampire legend comes from Vlad the impaler and Elizabeth of Bathory. Elizabeth believed that she could retain her beauty by drinking human blood. I think it had to be a young woman and she had to be a virgin. She would have her guards kidnap young girls and then keep them and feed them until they gained weight and them sacrifice them.

I don't but my sister in law is freaked out by them, and she is 26. She has nightmares about the fictitious kind. As for people who practice that kind of vampire stuff, I think its a little strange.

Psychic vampires, people who thrive on the skill of alternative persons... of course i've got faith in them. I recommend, we've all been around people who make us experience run down basically via being close to them. Mythological Vampires? not plenty.

I believe in them.
Vampires are humans who have a lack of energy. They feed off other humans psychic energy or blood in order to get the energy they need.
There are two types: psi (psychic) and sanguinarian (blood). There are also those that can feed on both psi energy and blood.

Even though I know Vampires aren't real, I'm completely obsessed with them. They're so interesting, even if they are pure fiction. :[
