I think there is a possible cure for AIDS out there but the American people will never be aware of it. The drug companies' goal is to make profits. There hasn't been a major medical cure since the 1950s when the polio vaccine was found and that cost drug companies billions of dollars. Imagine if they were to find the cure for AIDS; drug companies will lose even more profits.
Remember, drug companies are there to make profits, they could care less about the quality of life of people.

Pharmaceuticals are a business, there is no profit in curing illness. All the money is made by keeping people alive and dependent upon medications. AIDS drugs have gotten good, to the point that a patient can survive many many years on an expansive cocktail of medications.
The question shouldn't be weather a cure is found or not, rather what sort of motivation is there to curing such a disease. Are you so inclined to believe that capitalism and the quest fort he almighty dollar with conquer all?

Of course there is a cure. I am sure religion is not withholding it so let that go. Any man made bio weapon will also have a cure to protect the makers of it. AIDS is man made all the way I am 100% sure of that. The cure will be coming out very soon because the intended target of this bio war, Africans, are becoming immune to the disease. They are going to let as many non whites as possible die and then they will say, "Oh wow, we have a cure, awesome. "

Of course not. It's easy to get hooked into conspiracy theories but the fact is that if any company or individual had a cure they'd receive a Nobel Prize and untold wealth from patenting the cure. Some people like Magic Johnson and other have more money for drugs which suppress the virus and perhaps stonger immune systems to delay the worst effects of the virus from overwelming their immune systems.

there is a cure for aid, just as there is a cause, the cure cant exist with the cause, and the cause is not in existence with out the cure, just think if it was the type, when you contracted it one day and die the next, why does,nt it kill you the first time, reason theres something that slows the process, to keep you from dieing all at once, if it was created in a lab testing it on the kidneys of a primate, then that tells you that there is indeed a cure for this, this diease was created in a lab, these chemistsof what ever they were, was looking for a way to cure polio, so why did,nt they use the kidneys of the species they were trying to save man or the monkeys.

I think they are holding it either that or whatever they have is close to a cure. But if they were serious about curing people a lot would be cured already. But if they only want to give it to the rich people, and not everyone else, they'll get theirs cause there is nothing more wrong than knowing you can save a person's life, and choosing not to. especially if you don't have the disease yourself.

I don't believe there is a cure for aids. Maybe someday there will be, but not now.

Yes i think we will find it someday, because molecular scientists are working on the HIV/AIDS virus genome. I think an inhibitor of reverse transcriptase which would prevent the replication of the virus would be a good attempt!

The same could be said for aging. What an overpopulated world this would be if we all lived to be 200!
