No, it's more Generation Y. There's a debate over when Generation X ended and some say it was 1975-76, others say it was 1982. A few people say it was around 1978. Even more people say Gen X is anyone who was a teen in the 80s, others say you had to be a twentysomething in the 1990s. Kids born in the late 70s and early 80s are sometimes called the MTV generation or that it's an over lapping area between Gen X and Gen Y. No one seems to know exactly. If you were born after 1980-82, you're most often called Gen Y.

Well, in the 90's yes..But those that grew up in the 80's I believe were referred to as "yuppies"
