for example when turning into a turning zone if u cross the line before it turns over a lane so u can turn well some drivers(mainly older people) can get away with this while some other people (the younger one) get or can get pulled over by a cop because of it.why can people get away with this? i have been told many times by cops say at a dirvers ed meeting that we have to uphold the diriving law and if we dont our licence can be taken away.why is it that the older can get away witht that but not the younger. it is noy fair atall i think every one should have to abide by the same laws i mean they were set there for a reason, in a way isnt that a type of segratgration? i am just asking i hope some one wants to answer me on this subject because i am really lost on what to really say!!! u can email me at hawkins_talwin@yahoo.com i also have yahoo messenger it is the same name. anybody is wecome to add me as a freind

It may happen, though I hope not much. The police do profile, even though in most jurisdictions it's not legal. DWH, DWB (driving while Hispanic or Black) isn't just a joke; the police do consider race and location when deciding who to pull over for minor traffic violations. Most likely age also factors into it. So does type of vehicle compared to the driver.

Basically, the police react this way because a minor violation is an easy reason to stop someone where they would not legally be able to do so otherwise. They are typically hoping that there is more to be gained once the person is stopped - outstanding warrants, driving without permission, underage drinking or whatever; crimes they wouldn't know about if they didn't get to stop that driver.

Talwin are you really this naive or stupid that you believe that old people are exempt from the traffic laws?

Wait...don't tell me....you just watched that episode of South Park where all the senior citizens are running down people in the streets and then they get their drivers licenses taken away...but get the AARP to come help them by taking over the town at gunpoint?

Thats where you get your views on society from isn't it?

No group is exempt from the law.....grow up.

Maybe younger divers get pulled over more because they break the laws more. You are using a very subjective standard. Those you know are younger so you hear from them. What are your statistics for stating this? Do you have any evidence?

The laws are the same for everyone; if they are not being enforced in the same manner where you live you should report it. After all someone has to be first to take a stand remember if nothing changes nothing changes.

i in my opinion think of all of it comes right down to their character and to a definite volume the time-honored of the education that they get carry of. in the event that they have a foul character and rush or look reckless in nature with different issues in life then that's certainly going to be contemplated of their employing skills. I in straightforward terms in basic terms (at 33) took my employing examination final October 2007 and actual have been given larger marks than and stepped forward employing instructor might decide for, extremely lots larger in reality. i like to think of that I also have a physically powerful character and that this displays in my employing yet i know for a reality that I had between the terrific instructors accessible and this one hundred% helped. I see in this united states (uk) loads of those smaller employing colleges coaching human beings to stress yet they themselves at the instant are not considerate drivers and that i've got seen them choosing pupils up whilst being parked for the duration of yellow lines exterior college entrances and all varieties of very undesirable practices. that's certainly going to reproduction directly to their pupils and can have an unfavourable result. i in my opinion choose that there replaced right into a fashion for human beings to might desire to re-take some variety of an examination each 5 to 10 years just to enable them to determine what number undesirable behavior they have picked up and to optimistically quash loads of the undesirable ideas. Our highway Code is continuously changing and this truly needs to be study in line with annum or so with the help of drivers or perhaps pedestrians to make certain that all of us is up thus far on the the terrific option procedures. i'm having a guess that no one ever does that although. i know i will as I even have been looking into in line with probability at some point starting to be an ADI and so will might desire to save stable employing skills and concept front and superior. don't know if this solutions your question in completeness yet optimistically sheds a distinctive view on the subject.

Bcause the OLDER drivers are the ones who make the laws. So they are also the ones who have the most skill at breaking them. So if you don't like it then just GROW UP and change the way things are..........That Is The Way Life Is Played.............: )

From what I can gather from your gibberish, you think that us older folks can break traffic laws while you young whippersnappers cannot. Doesn't happen. You young kids drive more reckless than we do (we did when we were young), so you get pulled over more often (I did).

If it's happening, it's a type of discrimination, not segregation.

You may just feel like younger people are persecuted because you know mostly young people, and that's whose stories you hear.
