Hi Everyone
I just found out that i am pregnant. i am 24 and recently ,oct 2 miscarried. i did every thing right the first time with doctor visit and prenatal vitamins--but i did drink coffee and was really stressed out. the dr. said many women are in poor conditions around te world and still have healthy babies.anyway i sadly miscarried after two months. the baby was not producing enough horomones. i also had no progestrone. Does anyone know how to get progestone naturally?

Does anyone know how long i should wait for my visits? i dont want to start visits and hear the heart beat only to then find out i miscarried. i want to wait till my 3rd month. what do you think? i am happy but also not overdoing it.

They usually like to start seeing you between 7 and nine weeks and then once a month after that you wouldn't hear the heart beat at your first visit any way and you would be around 12 weeks at your second visit. Also if you go to late in the pregnancy some doctors won't even take you...because they don't want the liability.I would start sooner then later. Good Luck and Congrats.

I think you need to have the doctor supplement the progesterone. That is the key to not having a miscarriage again. I would go to the doc ASAP so he can do what he needs to to assure you a healthy pregnancy. Some pregnancy's just end for no reason no matter what you do. ( I had 3 one at 6 weeks 8 weeks and 11 weeks) I was so scared every time but I know that if I was meant to have a baby I will get my chance someday. ( I have a 11 month old now) I think that it also depends on age. I think you need to chill and not think bad ( I know that is sooooo hard ) but for the baby do as much as you can for the baby.... get prenatal care ASAP.... Start the vitamins and chill out. It is so common to have a miscarriage...like 1 in 4-5 women.... That is a ton. You are not alone.

Good Luck

For a mother's health, and the health of her baby, she is advised to take so-called "prenatal vitamins." These are specially formulated multivitamins that make up for any nutritional deficiencies in the mother's diet during pregnancy. While the supplements contain numerous vitamins and minerals, their folic acid, iron, and calcium content are especially important. As soon as you suspect you're pregnant, schedule an appointment with your pregnancy health care provider. Even if you've confirmed your suspicion with a home pregnancy test, it's still wise to follow-up with a doctor appointment. This will ensure that you and your baby get off to a good start. Regular appointments with your health care provider throughout your pregnancy are important to ensure the health of you and your baby. In addition to medical care, prenatal care includes education on pregnancy and childbirth, plus counseling and support.
Frequent visits with your healthcare provider allow you to follow the progress of your baby's development. Visits also give you the opportunity to ask questions. Also, most healthcare providers welcome your partner at each visit, as well as interested family members. The first prenatal visit can be exciting yet stressful. With all the poking and prodding and the uncertainty of test results, it is bound to get any mom-to-be nervous. Keep in mind, all of these tests are routine. If you have any questions about these tests or what the test results may mean, talk to your healthcare provider.

hope that helps :) and congrats :):)

You MUST go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY! Your doctor can prescribe you progesterone pills. I miscarried 2 years in a row and the doc finally gave me progesterone on the 3rd try, and now I have a 3 month old baby boy! If you wait, you are putting yourself at risk for a miscarriage.

Arrange to have prenatal care as soon as you know you are pregnant. It is vital for a healthy pregnancy. Your prenatal care clinician can help you reduce the risk of having a low-birth-weight baby by 300 percent.

See your clinician regularly.

If you are age 18 to 35 and healthy you will probably have a "low-risk" pregnancy. If so, plan on seeing your clinician about

once a month for the first 28 weeks (seven months)
every two or three weeks from the 28th to the 36th week (eighth month)
weekly from the 36th week until delivery (ninth month)

If you have a "high-risk" pregnancy, you will need to see your clinician more often.

Get to a doctor as quick as you can. My sister also miscarried due to low progesterone, and her doctor put her on a supplement and she has a great 8 year old now. I don't know of any way to get that hormore "naturally" if your body doesn't produce enough. Now that the problem is identified, a doctor can help prevent you miscarrying again. If you don't get the supplements though, you have a good chance to miscarry again. Please don't wait.

Just because you miscarried once does not mean you will every time you try to have a baby. Go to the doctor now. Cut the coffe out of your life until the baby is born cause that could have caused the death of the first baby. But good luck!

You need to see your ob/gyn as soon as you think you are pregnant, they will set you up on a regular schedule for office visits.

Not going to the Dr, or waiting is a bad idea and only increases your likelihood of having trouble with this pregnancy.

Do not attempt to supplement yourself without the guidance of your ob/gyn. No exceptions.

The sooner the better considering you previous miscarriage. You ob should be able to prescribe you any meds you might need to ensure the heath of the baby.

I think you need to relax and don't drink coffee. I started my prenatal visits with my first daughter at 26 weeks because I was in denial and she was healthy. With this little girl it was 9 weeks. The sooner the better. Congrats & good luck!
