Everyone seems to suddenly feel that they have the right to become big flaming self-righteous @ssholes for two months between Halloween and Christmas. And the closer we get to Christmas, the nastier people act towards each other. Lately, everyone has managed to make the whole ordeal a political issue in addition to being the usual over-commericalized nightmare. "Holiday trees"? Gimme a break! I usually just ignore the whole holiday season and I stay in bed all day on Christmas with the phone off the hook so I don't have to deal with anyone. F*ck the holidays!

Older boomer housewives who really believe they are the center of the universe. I feel so guilty for wanting to strangle the dickens out of them while they drone on about their damn grandbabies.

I like gnomes, but elves are creepy. They have a hidden agenda that is bad for humans.

Last but not least, why didn't Cindy Lou Who wake up her parents when she saw the Grinch stuffing the tree up the chimney? I still cry when that Grinch throws Max off the sleigh and whips him up the mountain.

I agree with you on loooong lines, but the long lines I hate are on the highways and even on the local roads.

Thank God I moved to Pinellas county where the major roads are in grid form so I can have many alternate routes.

I agree that lines suck, I would say that as well as all of the chaos. When I think Holiday I think of relaxing, not standing in lines and people pushing and shoving. Other than that I like the season!
