I had a car that did that and it meant the brake fluid was low. If you have already checked to make sure the emergency brake is not slightly engaged then it could be brake fluid. Good Luck!

If your emergency brake is not engaged at the moment then you need to have your mechanic check your brakes. You may need brake fluid or you may need to have a brake job done.

Most cars have a switch attached to the e brake. Your may be bad. Depending on what car you have look at the end of the handle or pedal and you should see it.

My brother in law has a truck that does that and all he does is pull up on the brake and it takes care of it. his brake was on the floor i don't know where yours is
