Definitely include the following affects that education has on each:

* personality - children work in groups and learn social skills; they also develop optimistic or pessimistic impressions when problems arise and learn how to solve such problems

* character - character education occurs in many schools, but even without it, children are faced with many opportunities to make good descisions and develop character. They learn from friends and the examples of teachers, too.

* intellect - one's intellect is not necessary how much one knows or how fast he/she learns...it is what one does when he/she doesn't know the answer. Throughout one's education, one is faced with a myriad of problems to solve.

* self-reliance - especially as students get older, they are gradually given more and more responsibilities to handle. They depend more and more on themselves as they learn and grow, and with an excellent education, one gains an effective sense of independence.
