Congrats on moving to the next stage of nutrition Now that you have introduced Gerber mixed cereals and your baby eats them without having any allergies you can introduce Stage 1 jar food. With this you have to only feed one new food per 2-3 days to watch for allergies. Also keep in mind that it can take up 18 trys before you can tell if a baby likes it or not. Don't force feed it also if they spit it out with thier tongue a lot like more than 3 times in a row try later that day or week. Try feeding a stage 1 jar around the same time that you would feed the cereal. Also dont feed from the jar put a small amount into a bowl and put the jar in the fridge. What ever is left in the bowl do not safe because baby's bacteria is now in the food and started the spoiling proccess. GOOD LUCK!

Start with the frst stage foods - introduce them one at a time as a suppliment to the cereal and formula or breastfeeding. Bananas are usually a great first hit. Give it to your baby for a week every day before introducing a new flavor. The tastebuds are still real new to all this flavor, and keeping it slow is easier on him or her.
Go fruit, veggie, fruit, veggie, fruit, veggie. Once you have several introduced, try serving a couple at a time - half a jar of fruit, half a jar of veggies.
meats should be introduced after the fruits and veggies - I think they are mainly stage two jars anyway.
He or she will let you know which they like and which they don't- they spit it out repeatedly. Expect spit out the first few tastes though. You will know if they like it - they'll try to take the jar from you, or you won't be able to get it in their mouth fast enough!
The interesting and fun time of life!

slowly mix fruit and other food to introduce your baby to new things. It really doesn't matter the age as long as he/she is eating. Drinking the milk is also very important. Baby will let you know when he is hungry and also will sleep longer with a full tummy.

Fruit, and lots of it!! Bananas and applesauce, soft things but things that have lotes of vitamins and proteins. After that stage, little bits of chicken and rice and noodles. After that, the skys the limit. Oh yeah, back to fruit, mandarin oranges are a favorite among little ones. But definetly fruits and lots of them. Good luck!!
