Def Leppard a Led Zep rip off band? Any band that has remotely gone down the metal path has "ripped off" Led Zep - they were the forefathers of the whole scene. What a ridiculous thing to say.
Best album: Hysteria (without any question whatsoever - not a single weak track on the album from start to finish)

"Vault" nor "Rock of Ages" should be options, as they were both Best Of CDs. They're designed to be strong albums.
Hysteria was a huge, huge success for Def Leppard, and they toured behind that album for over 2 years. They had seven hit singles from it, and it sold millions of copies.
Granted, it was a little more polished in the studio than some of their previous albums, and some of it sounds over-produced, but they hit the ball out of the park with that album.

PYROMANIA - I LOVE that album. I still remember every word of every song on that one. I loved to play with fire as a kid and I listened to that TAPE on my headphones while mucking stalls and hanging out on the farm. I have the CD now! Also have Vault - 2 of those actually, one for each vehicle

Pyromania was alright. I don't like anything after that and have heard nothing before that.
Note to togashiyokuni2001: The Led Zep rip-off band of the 80's was Great White.

Well Vault is a greatest hits album so I will pick that, but Hysteria was by far the best!
