Yes, but if you think about it it's every type of movie.... not just comedies.

Not always.
Though generally, romance is featured in some way or another in all films, as its part of a films formula.
Besides, comedy is meant to be fun isn't it? And a nice romance is always nice and happy ain't it? :)

If you think about it, any kind of movies has a little bit of romance. A man-woman relationship. Even the horror flicks and kids movies. Because life is love. ;)

It depends what you mean by comedy. If you mean anything that's funny then definitely not. What about something like Jackass? That's not about romance.

no not all comedies..
but relationships are something that just about anyone can relate to in one way or another, so it is something very easy to write about and bring out the funny points.
Some comedies are romantic,
but not all are romantic comedies.

No...just look at Animal House, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Borat (definately NOT about romance...except for his infatuation/obsession w/Pam Anderson!) I could go on and on but my answer would be no...

Most of them, but theres not really any other thing that can really make you act so stupid or look like a complete prat for others to laugh at.

yes and no, most are but then you get the clasics like hot shots and police accadmy beverly hills cop and most important airplane sum romantic interest but mainly slapstick
