"Elf", with Will Ferrell (as Buddy) and James Caan, who plays his father.

I have to tell you, I've watched this over and over, bought the DVD and still watch it when it comes on cable. It is so rich with humor and the way Buddy has that innocence and enjoyment of Christmas is just too precious not to appreciate; especially since he's this great big kid in an adult body. :)
