look for books written by Daniel J Goldhagen, Christopher
Browning, Frank Mcdonough, Yehuda Bauer, Robert Lifton, George Mosse, David Engle, Alan Mitchell, Oded Heilbronner, and Omer Bartov. All these historians have added signifigantly to the German Jewish historiography and would give you many different perspectives of the Holocaust.

Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl (sp?) is written by a psychologist that lived through the holocaust. It may not be quite what your looking for, but it's a wonderful book about how people deal w/such experiences individually.
