I agree with what Steve has said. All other answers are blatantly false. The United Nations and the African Union are desperately trying to aid the millions of stranded civilians in Darfur. The WFP (World Food Program) is flying relief missions as I write this. The United Nations has been barred by the Sudanese Government from entering. We are a force of peace; we can not be like the United States, and attack "Preemptively." The situation is dire, but until we garner more support from member states, there is nothing much else we can do.
