I did this a while ago with Outlook. I don't use it anymore though, so I can't be 100% sure on it. If I remember correctly there is a way to "save" or "export" your emails to files. They're not very handy to use, unfortunately, so if you're expecting to open your mail program and have it look the same, probably not. If you just want to save them for posterity, it'll work.

try resending them to yourself from your old laptop, close ur email on that laptop, then open your email on the new laptop and they should all be there

Jump-drive, external hard drive, or, just re-mail them and use the new computer to get.
