Is Jimmy Buffett a buddhist?

Question

I am a lifelong Parrot Head and am very familiar with all things Buffett, but I can not find any information regarding his CURRENT religious beliefs. Is he a buddhist?

Mr. Yammaha, I am not going to become buddhist because of Buffett. I am just curious.

Jimmy has always crossed religions. While he is a spiritual person and enjoys other religions, I doubt that he would associate himself personally with any organized church or institution. He was raised Roman Catholic, but I think the crazy lifestyles in New Orleans and Key West expanded his mind (along with some chemical help; he didn't get arrested in France for carrying Ecstasy because he was going to church) Listen to the song Fruitcakes,

Possibly, but Religion should be a private thing, and you shouldn't chose your relgious beliefs becasue you like a singer. I love Joey Ramone, he's my idol, but I'm not Jewish because of it.

He started off as a Christian Fundamentalist, then he converted to an Islamic Extremist and now he's a washed up old has-been who doesn't know what to believe anymore because Alzheimer's is starting to set in.
