welcome to the harsh realities of life. We often think that nice people will make it, or at least hope they will make it. But the reality is that nice people, bad people, will all die one day.
But if she lived her life to the fullest, even if it was such a young age that she passed away, it was still a bright life.
I understand the shock must be terrible, but you all must go on, and say a year later or so, the school will be back to normal, trust me. Of course for her mum, it's going to be very difficult. Perhaps if there's some way to help her keep memories of her daughter, it'll make her feel much better. If you and your friends have photos, stories, memoirs about her daughter, try to collate them or something and give it to her to add to her memory of her daughter.

So is life........my friend got in a car accident 1 mile from her home going to work because she was called in and passed away she was a senior also and all she did was hit the gravel it was enough to roll her car like 3 times. How many times have you and I and the next guy hit the gravel before and nothing happened?. This other girl that was a star athlete was on her way to major scholarships and she got in a accident and busted her ancles and feet so bad that it ended her future career. Another male got in a accident with a girl that lived in my town she is fine but he is paralized from the waist down he also was a star athlete. Things happen for a reason even if we can't see the reasoning its there. Life is cruel but if she was as great as a person as you say she was then rest assured she is in a better place.
