I answered this a while ago and will give the same answwer this time.
The song would be 'going underground' by The Jam. It is a classic song from the punk era that my friends and family would enjoy musically and also the light-heartedness of the joke may lift some of the heavy spirits on the day. I recently escorted a patient to the funeral of her father. At the final moment when we were leaving the crematorium her father had arranged for 'always look on the bright side of life' by Monty Python to be played. It brought smiles to the faces of his mourning family and reflected the sense of humour he had in life.

Light My Fire by The Doors if I was cremated.
Going underground by The Jam if buried.
But I heard recently, the most popular song at funerals now is Beautiful by James Blunt. I think most of the congregation would follow you into the flames if that was played.

Think "I've Got To Get Out Of This Place" by the Animal would raise a few smiles, and would get conversation going at the Wake afterwards. If I was feeling mischievous then maybe I would just pick something really really bad that would irritate the hell out of everyone..... with zero comeback, bonus!

Lady of Avalon
Calling you from beyond the mists of time
Re-imagining the great Goddess
Building a new love and the sacred lands
Come, come Morgen of the Fairy
Chorus:
Lady of Avalon
Morgen Le Fey
Lady of Avalon
Be here with us today
Learning to love the Wheel of Life
To die, to change, to heal
Born again with the sun at Yule
Come, come Morgen of the Fairy
Chorus
Take my life and melt it down
In the fires of your smithy
Transform the metals of who I am
To the gold of my soul
Chorus
Nolava calls her children home
To die, to change, to heal
Transformed within to stand whole
In the power of dark and light
Chorus
If you can arrange for this song to be sung at my funeral I would be grateful
Blessed Be

I have loads lined up - actually I want to record myself singing and make all my friends listen to it at my funeral as they would never listen to me while I was alive - they;ve all told me they'll walk out of my funeral though - I will haunt them if they do that!
Anyway, sorry I digress...Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here and The Turning Away and Guns 'n' Roses, Knocking on Heaven's Door

Then outside I'm having amazing grace play by bagpipes.
