I went to my Obsterics and Gynecology doctor yesterday and she explained that the patch and the pill are like the same and i know that the shot has killed a few people. So, which does everyone think is the best form of birth control?

The pill is effective as long as you remember to take it religiously. When my oldest son was about 18 months old, he had to have surgery and I stayed with him in the hospital. After I returned home, I realized I had forgotten to take my pills during the 3 or 4 days I was gone. We didn't use other precautions and I ended up pregnant with my younger son. But as long as I took my pills as directed, I stayed pregnancy-free. You and your doctor should weigh the risks and advantages of each method and decide which is best for you. If you are a poor pill taker and forget easily, then the pill is not for you. If you have other side effects from the patch or the shot, they will not be a good option. Each woman's body is different and will react to a method in a different way. Sometimes it is a matter of convenience, sometimes the risk of serious side effects will make your decision more difficult.
Good luck.

Each drug for pregnancy prevention wil generally work the same just depends on you as a person. As long as you do not have any health problems. Best form I can honestly say is not having sexual intercourse at all. Because the risk of STD's out there eventhough the numbers are going down, but you will be the one that will have to make that decision.

You have to decide which birth control method is best for you.
All women are different and react to differently to different birth control methods. There are other alternatives to the patch and pill. If you are worried about it. Speak to your doctor until you feel confident about your choice.http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/birth-control/BI99999

If used properly, condoms can be highly effective. It's not necessary to use birth control if you know how to use a condom.

as long as you don't have any medical problems, the pill is pretty effective. but to make sure, use condoms too. there are a lot more pill babies out there than condom babies :)
