I know how to open the door manually. I want to know whaty is preventing it from opening. No time for insults. Please be professional.

If you have a wood door, it can become stuck or rub due to the expansion of the wood. It could also be the door jamb itself.

First of all, figure out where the door is actually stuck. Stick a credit card in the jamb and run it up/down/across/through those gaps. If you're hitting something, mark the door with masking tape and a pencil.

Force the door open and take a planer to the door in those areas. Remember that the door otherwise fits, so you won't be removing too much material at a time. You can always remove more wood, but you can't put it back if you take too much off.

been cold/damp? door may have sweld-up.
