No..I have not forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Christ is the reason for the season. However, I do think that Christmas has become a little commercialized. It is still the best time of year and I love it. Happy Holidays.

I believe that there are so many different people out there that have no clue as to what the true meaning of Christmas is. If you go back to the basics, its not about buying stuff for someone, its not about having that perfect gift under the tree for your child, its about love. Its about the love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and how He loved us so much that He left His father and the Holy Spirit to come here and be born of a Virgin and die on a cross for us. He was the poorest King there ever was. But I love Him and will never forget what He did for me on the day He came down to die for my sins. Thank you Jesus and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

No. We all should keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind all year, not just in December. The true meaning of Christmas is the birth of Christ, which should be celebrated by giving to others, especially people in need. It really makes me sad to see that it's been turned into a holiday of greed by retailers.

No here it is as re-told by Linus
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

It is a mix of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the renewal of the year in celtic pagan beliefs (winter solstice)
Nothing to do with commercials and marketing stuff.

Well... I'm atheist, and I just view Christmas as a time to be with your family. Christmas is my favorite holiday, mainly because my family just takes a break from all their problems and just spend time together. =3

i think most have including me, but then again i no longer care for the true meaning of it since it is a lie in itself, so i am much happier just buying stuff for my family and eating, the togetherness aspect of it is still around though.
