Maybe a bankcard (with $15 on it) so they can use it to get what they want (it would be great for them to buy lunch or coffee in the a.m. on their way to work). Going with that same thinking, maybe a Dunkin' Donuts (or other large coffee/donut shop in your area, ie. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc.). That's what I'm getting my secret santa. Even if they're not a coffee drinker, these places offer so much more than that.
I know personally I hate getting little trinkets, I have enough junk at home and work that I don't really need those snowman salt & pepper shakers!
Merry Christmas!

Here are a few ideas:
* frame a nice pic of the group
* sometimes it's cute to read stories written and illustrated by kids, you could have some kids write a story, having your friends' names be the main characters
* you could make them a christmas ornament, that way every year they see it, it reminds them of you!
* send them a greeting of kisses inside whisks with the attachment saying, "I WHISK you a merry KISSmas!"
*when I needed a lot of gifts one year, I went to the dollar store and found a small jar that I filled with goodies I also bought at the dollar store, about $2-3 dollars a person and they all loved it, and it didn't look cheap
*cookies/cakes/brownies in a jar costs $5-7 dollars a person...I have recipes.

How about a gift certificate for a manicure? They run around $15.00 and you could get it at a salon near the office so she could go on lunch.

Uhm,you should give a bit details of what he likes. If he likes flowers, give him fake flowers to put on the desk of his officeroom. or some chocolates in a box with a bow on top, they're the treat of the angels. Anything that he likes is good to go.:)
