If you work out like crazy and your clothing still fits. You may have gained muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat. So that might explain the weight gain. As far as thyroid disease. Other symptoms will probably be present. Feeling tired all the time. feeling cold when everyone else isn't. Changes in your skin.
changes in your mood (depressed) changes in your menstrual cycle, brittle nails, coarse or brittle hair, hair loss. If you are worried, See your Doctor and also speak to someone at the gym to check your fat to muscle ratio.

You should see a doctor and ask for a full physical with blood work. Thyroid screens usually test TSH and T4 to determine where the problem is. I suffer hypothyroidism there was weight gain my other symptoms were premature gray hair, cold hands and feet (even when other people are warm), unusually heavy periods, periods of depression, and no energy. I walked every day too and still gained. I was 31 so I had to ask specifically for the test because my doctor thought I was too healthy and too young.
Could be something totally different though, no matter what you need a physician.
Good Luck!

See a doctor and be weighed in his office each time you visit. If your clothes still fit right, it might be your scales that are off. If it is thyroid, there will be more symptoms, such as thinning hair, fatigue, and other symptoms.

It's possible that something is wrong with your thyroid. Are you also cold, tired, mentally and physcially slow, have rough skin, constipated, very pale and weak?

You should go to the doctor and have a blood test to find out, it's very simple and they will give you medication to fix it. And if it's not your thyroid, you may find out if there's something else going on.

Good luck!

It's probably muscle. If it was fat related to a thyroid problem you would have changed sizes with that much of a difference.
