Yes you can. Just Google 'winzip' and download the free version. Each time you use it it will ask you if you want to upgrade it, it you really don't need to.

Winzip is not free, you must purchase it.
PowerArchiver is free if you use version 6.1
If you are using Linux, then you get free compression/decompression utilities built in.
Microsoft Windows XP also has a single free zip/unzip facility.

Get winrar its free for 40 days and unzips more files than winzip.
You can then get on a P2P website and download a crack for it that allows you to have it indefinately.
