Get this: at Thanksgiving I went to someone else's get together and there was a boy there that couldn't have been more than 6 or 7. He saw that I had a tongue ring and told me that is "So sexy". Imagine that coming from a 6 year old. It blew me away. Then I found out he asked my roommates 15 year old daughter out on a date. How's that for knowing things too young? I can't even imagine what his parents did to enlighten that boy!

I didn't get the birds and bees discussion until I was 9 (my mom's kinda slow sometimes) but I think on some levels, that's just one of those things we humans know by instinct, plus his dad's profession probably helped too.

All little girls wear dresses to school. So clearly he was peeking. The only reason I knew about that is because I had to take a bath with my brother. I was 4. I don't do it now!!!!

Mommy taught him.
My mom is a nurse, and we cut our teeth on medical books and pictures in full color.
My sister and I taught our children this by the time they were 3. Helps them to get used to speaking in non-trashy verbage.

Yes, I once asked mom why boys had a little worm between their legs and she told me that fact. That boy cracked me up in that movie.
