The Iraqi situation has gone way beyond partisan sniping. Having a "formal" recognition that the Bush administration is smug and arrogant may be somewhat vindicating, but does nothing to promote positive change. I think that most Americans have grown weary of name-calling and labeling from either side, and simply want to hear some common sense, truthful answers, regardless of where those answers come from. Bashing in any form is totally counterproductive. Look up "narcissistic personality disorder". People with this condition do not react well to anyone who challenges their authority. If you were Bush, you'd be "hot under the collar", too. Are you expecting something radically different? A public apology, perhaps? A conciliatory message? Don't hold your breath. As a nation, more than ever before, we need to be unified - and pedantic digs only perpetuate division. Try not to be a contributor. Think "JFK".

Ask an intelligent question and you will get an intelligent answer from both sides. If this is your form of a question though, a sweeping insult to all conservatives and Republicans, you will find no good answers because you have put us all on the defensive already

There always has to be "the last one to learn"....., and in this instance, it seems to have been the one who should have seen it first,... Just holding a position of leadership apparently is no guarantee of having the ability to quickly absorb critical information, and relate it to a larger picture requiring greater contemplation, and then of course there will always be the "sheeple" under such leadership....

And all this from a guy who formulates his opinions by listening to sound bites. Expand your mind, read the whole thing yourself. Try to inform yourself completely, not just come off as a unintelligent parrot.

It's all crumbling to the ground.
It was inevitable. Too bad more people didn't see it before the '04 elections...
