If someone beats you you are being abused physically. If they berate you you are being abused menatlly. If someone is touching you in an inappropriate manner sexually then, you guessed it. No, you should not wait until you are 18 and then "just move out of the house" Talk to a counslor at school if you have to but do something now...

Very tough question and one I hope is purely hypothetical. I was molested when I was 12 and I told immediately. If I were 16 I would tell an authority immediately. I wouldn't want it to last one second longer and I'd want the abuser to pay for their actions. I'd also hope that my telling would save someone else from the same fate.

waiting until you turn 18 means letting the abuser keep doing it for a couple more years. My point is, you have to report it as soon as the abuse occurs. I know is hard to admit the abuse, but you have to be strong and confident that there's help for those who need it.

I think that you need to talk to some one if you think its happening to you. Two years is a long time hold something like that in and no one needs to live like that. If you are not comfortable with what is going on then yes its abuse and you need to report that person or at least talk to some one about it so that they can help you.. No one deserves it and should not have to live with it just because you are 16.

Yes, you would be able to tell at 16. I was able to tell at 12. You need to tell someone and get the hell out of there if you are in this situation.

Please tell someone....I was too afraid to tell someone when it happened to me and I look back on my life and wonder what could have been different...having this happen to you effects how you react to just about any situation that comes along..even if you dont think it will, believe me .....if the first person you tell doesnt believe you or want to help, tell another...dont stop telling until you find someone that will help you....also, dont down play it by referring to it as"some sexually"...it is what it is..and it's wrong ...and in no way your fault....

My dad and his siblings were abused by their stepmother and my dad left when he was sixteen. There's no reason you'd have to put up with another two years of abuse. Get out now.

Tell someone, now, do not wait. The mental anguish lasts much longer than the deeds, and years from now you will wonder why you stayed there. DO IT NOW!!
