He seemed pretty steamed about it. Do you think he will follow the seventy nine recommendations? The elder statesmen are trying to bail him out, I say he will flop.

He's already stated that he intends to "stay his course" to spite the American people's wishes.

I say the report had some good and some not so good. Use your own judgment. Attempting to converse with Iran and Syria will be like trying to discuss Shakespeare with a mental patient. Letting the citizens make war policy is foolish unless the citizens have all the data pertinent to the war. We don't.

And SOME of the elder statesmen are trying to help him, some, as usual are self-serving and trying to help themselves. The report is in my opinion neither all bad advice, nor all good advice. I know Senator McCain does not agree with some of it and I think his opinions are those I can respect.

Yes, he looked steamed, but he is still the President, and the Commander-in-Chief. He can follow whatever course of action that he deems best for the interests/safety of the United States of America.
Watch however, for politicians who oppose the President, to hoot and howl like banshees when he takes any other course than what this blue ribbon panel of Non-experts has recommended.

As an analogy, You may not like my answer. But I only have stated the truth, here. Are you steamed? Or bothered, because I support our President, and my Country, contrary to your recommendations, your intent with this question?
Then I expect you not to award me "Best Answer". Even though I have given you my best.
Should you be constrained to give me Best Answer? No. That is your choice, just like the future of the war is that of George Bush.

I think he's under a lot of stress right now. He'll probably follow some of the recommendations.

He came on TV today and as much as said he wasn't going to do anything they recommended! We must not forget he is the president that wants to be emperor!
