although i will refrain from using names i thought a certain girl who was my freind who called herself a "anime punk" betrayed me and hurt me in the worst possible way. now since i made freinds with her friends she is trying to pull them away from me by spreading horrible lies which i cant put the details of those lies on here. in my personal opinion she is still a child if she is a punk in college. her friends dont know who to believe and some threathen to hurt me what should i do?

well i would be honsest with the new friends and explain that since yor not a part of her life she has resentment towards you and the fact that you now share the friends and let them decide on what to do.
also do not follow in her foot steps and do character assaination as they will see that and know who is for real

I would just talk to the so called friends and tell them whats going on you know. You should also try and talk to the girl who is spreading all of these lies and try to solve whatever heat is between yall. If that doesnt work let someone know, like a dean , police or higher power that they are threating you and it could get ugly...

I think you better put a distance, find another set of friends. Do not bother explaining to them. Sooner or later the truth will come out.

if the lies get to the point were they are a detriment to your education then you should definitly report her. it makes no sense that she feels like she has to make up things to turn people away from you. obviously she is very self conscience and feels that her friends aren't really friends. i wouldn't get worked up about it because she has a problem. of course that is easier said than done.

sounds like these people are not your friends
move on and find friends who like you for who you really are
life is too short to have to worry about who does or does not believe you

Just be you. If someone is threatening you--stay away from them. It might not be a bad idea to separate yourself from all of them for awhile.

Stay away from her, and try to find new friends.

Make new friends. If they are true friends, it would not be an issue.

If they believe her, they are not your friends.
Leave it behind and make new friends.
