Interesting, isint it? I think a bit of it might be b/c the celebrity question gets a bit more "face" time on the front page, but still... After 10 answers or so, who is going to read much farther than that?

I prefer to look for questions with very few or no answers and actually give them my best effort.... Is that not what it's really about?

If you're talking about Oprah:

Her question was featured on the front page. Thousands of people saw it when they signed in. Her question got more publicity than "Average Joe's" question does.

Also, I am glad to say that Oprah isn't a selfish, heartless celebrity. She gives money to others that are less fortunate than her.

I wouldn't answer a question from, say, Paris Hilton, though.

You are so right. These people are twits.....the celebrities, and the people who worship them.

And the stuff that these people give away, I promise it is given to them. Oprah for example, if she is so free giving, why is she always asking people to send money for things. She has more money than, well...she has a lot of money. What do these people do with that money, nobody needs that much.

well it's just that celebs are more looked up to in our society so when they say something some people believe that whatever they say they have to start saying and make it a habit like with the paris hilton saying that's hott. how many ppl started saying that after her? And that's why we ignore average joe.

I feel your pain.

I guess some people just need someone to look up to and like to "follow the crowd" and look up to these morons, but we could look to our neighbor or Joe Average and he could really be someone to look up to. There is more to be learned from he who is humble, than those we deem heroic.

Do you really believe it is a celebrity? Could it be someone pretending? I for one wouldn't answer a question just because it was being asked by a celebrity. I do not pay attention to names unless they are perverts. Them I try to avoid.
