You should get flowers for being so special. I have always given single red roses as a symbol of unity. I also leave one thorn attached as a reminder that something so beautiful can be dangerous so it must be treated with great care. The flower must also be given when it is least expected so as keep the anticipation going. At least that is how I do it.

White flowers are pretty typical for wedding bouquets. If you're worried about the bouquet blending in with your white dress, you could always ask the florist to put in a few brightly colored feathers or tie a colored satin ribbon around the stems. As for types of flowers, calla lilies and roses are the most popular choices. But if you're looking for something a little different, I suggest tulips, hydrangeas, or hyacinth. They all come in different colors and are simply lovely in a bouquet. If flowers had a personality, hydrangeas and hyacinth would be warm, whimsical, and romantic, whereas tulips would be bright, happy, upbeat, and sweet. The best advice I can give you is to book an appointment with a local florist to discuss your options (I don't know when/where your wedding will be -- the time of year and location will impact pricing and availability). Good luck!

Well, you do have whiskers and pointy ears, so let's not totally let go of the strange thing... But as for the flowers, I'm not really into them either. I think it's because I'm pretty practical. If he's going to surprise me with something, I'd rather it be something that I really need and not something that will die in three days... But most girls like it, I guess... Most girls are unrealistic, though...

I don't like to receive flowers, miost of the time. I think they'rwe useless and they just last a few days. Then again, I like the fact that someone actually wants to buy me flowers... so i guess I'm stranger

I think most girls like to get flowers, but what a guy writes in the card is just as important!

I love flowers but they're kind of depressing because they die too easily. You're not strange - I hate nuts but I love Mr. Goodbars and other chocolates with nuts in them - I'm not strange either, its just the age-old fact that you like what you like.

no, I'm not too crazy about it either, unless it is a single rose for the thought. I feel there are other things that the money can be spent on, and it's sad to watch the flowers die. Now, a single rose I can hang upside down and dry for later.
