Why do people always make negative judgements on a movie just because it is a sequel? Or in this case a 6th installment? Who cares?
If this movie is in the tradition of Rocky, that is, inspirational, sad, entertaining and heart warming, I really couldn't care less if it was the 100000000,,,,,,, installment.
Based on all the crap that is out there, this movie WILL be something to watch. You never hear people say of James Bond "Well this is the 7th installment so it is crap."
Why? Because Bond is just mindless explosions and sex. That's what our society has become. Throw a slut in a dress, and you have a movie. Make a slasher film and everyone comes out.
So I implore the critics, just shut up and enjoy. I have watched the trailer, and this movie will be good. Why? Because we have an inspirational character and decent storyline.

I am going to see it because I am hearing a lot of good things about it.
Rocky Balboa, unlike most of the other Rocky sequels, doesn't take itself too seriously. They really poke a lot of fun at Sylvester Stallone and his age.
Mason "The Line" Dixon: "It's over."
Rocky Balboa: "Ain't nothing over 'til it's over."
Mason "The Line" Dixon: "Where's that from? The 80's?"
Rocky Balboa: "That's probably in the 70's."
With such a tongue-in-cheek delivery, the Rocky filmmakers are in on the joke. Should be fun.

I have mixed feelings about it, honestly. I've liked Stallone since "The Lords of Flatbush". I always thought he was a very talented actor, but how many Rocky and Rambo films do we need to see? Of course I'm going to go see it, I've seen every Rocky movie so far, what's one more?

Well, i really didn't think it was necessary to make another Rocky. I read about how he wasnt happy about how the last Rocky movie ended, so he decided to make another one. He claims this is the last one. But yes im going to go see it. Im a big Sylvester Stallone fan. So ima go support him. It may surprise us, so im looking forward to seeing it

I'm a Stallone and Rocky fan from waaaaaaay back, so of course I'll see it. But in a way I wish he had let Rocky rest. Stallone still looks damn good so he can do what he wants to. I'll be watching.

I don't plan on seeing it. He should've stopped making them after Rocky IV.

Nah. 60 year old men should not be boxing. Love Stallone, think this is a BAD move to make. I may just go to see my favorite actor from "Heroes" who plays his son.
