When will all the world governments ban wars?

Question

Any government that starts a war should be considered as a criminal government no matter what was the reason of the war they started. The only war that could be justified would be a war against that country that started the war FIRST. I am sure the majority of the worlds government will agree with this. If there will be a country (or countries) that will disagree with this then that will mean that they are planning to attack another country in the future and should be treated accordingly. Thats they should be considered as a threat to the world stability and prosperity.
I think that all countries who do not want wars or not planning to attack another countries should creat a special block (something like NATO) In case one country attack another country they will attack that country that started the war first.
What do you think?

The majority of countries in the world buy arms not to attack other countries but defend themselves. The world lives in fear that someone may attack them someday. I do not think that this proposal can solve all problems in the world immediately but at least it would be a big step in the right direction.

I think if the two biggest and powerful countries such as USA and Russia would agree on this proposal that would help to solve many problems in the world.

I think NATO and the UN are only creating more problems right now instead of helping to solve them.

This plan would help to prevent one country attacking another country. You do not need to invade the country that started the war. All you would need was to destroy her military forces thus preventing the war they wanted without even invading that country.

It is called the UNITED NATIONS, democracy one country one vote, but the conservatives say that their bible says that a united world will bring about the anti-christs or some crap like that so they do not want this.....and American Corporations do not want this because they would have less control over the world.....and money.....
So America does not support the U.N. thus without our support as the most powerful country it can not be.........

This is so flawed that I don't even know where to start. Listen, the only way you are going to completely get rid of war is by getting rid of every human being on the planet. It's human nature. Have you ever taken a history class? NATO was a direct result of the Soviet Bloc, which pretty much stated that if you attack one of us, we will defend that country. WWI was caused by alliances like the one you are proposing. Didn't stop a thing and actually created opposing sides just because of the alliances. Your plan would actually create more war. Pick up a book on world military history.

Sorry friend, but it would never work.
You could put every solider of every army in the world into a country like Iraq, and it would still be just as difficult as America's current situation.
The problem is that no matter how justified the attack on that country is(they are gassing their civilians, they annexed their neighbor, etc.), the citizens of that country will see it as an invasion.
And we have seen that the jihadists in many Middle Eastern countries have a suicidal resolve to resist any outside influence.

Probably never. The problem is that we cannot all agree that
war is bad.

For example: The Chinese could loose 3 million people in a war
and never even notice the decrease in population.

And Tibet would like to become an independent nation again.

As long as situations like that exist, war will be necessary.

I think your faith in Humanity is admirable.I wish it had some foundation in reality.
