BECAUSE THE CARPET IS A MANMADE PRODUCT THERE IS NO WAY TO REMOVE. U CAN FIX IT, GO TO YOUR CLOSET REMOVE A SAME SECTION AND REPLACE IT WERE U HAVE THE PROBLEM AND PROBLEM IN CLOSET.

You can clip or shave it. Do it very carefully and blend it in with the rest of the carpet. I had a wool carpet once....eeekkkk!!!

Do the whole carpet.We had the exact same problem.Then douse in lemon juice with a water pistol.Works like Magic as odd as it may seem!

try ice but the general answer is no as you have melted the carpet.haven't you always said a rug would look nice there?

I wouldn't have thought so but you might be able to claim on your contents insurance. Give it a try, they can only say no.
