I'm trying to do the same thing with my car.

If you have a garage, leave the doors open and run a fan in it. That'll keep fresh air moving in it to dry it out.

If you don't have a garage, just keep it open as much as you can, but make sure you don't let any rain get in it!

Then spray plain old Lysol on all of the seats and floors. Lysol kills mold and mildew. It doesn't stain or bleach my fabrics, but you should test yours first.

The key thing is to make sure no water is getting in. Make sure there's no leak in the weatherstripping, sunroof, or windshield. If any water gets back in, it'll all come right back!

Place a small bowl of vinegar in the car to sit overnight. It will draw out the smell. But be sure not to spill it in the car. And get it out before driving. Unless you pleasure the smell of vinegar.

Or you can go to an auto zone and pick up a car bomb. It is like a fogger for smells. You shut all the windows and doors and set it off and then open all the windows and let it air out. It works pretty good.

What is a humidity scent? I live in a very humid place, but I don't know what humidity smells like! If you're talking about a "damp" smell, you might try "Damp Rid, " a product available in many groceries and drugstores.

It is probably from the air-con vents. smell comes from the stale water droplets stored in the vents.
In order to clear the scent, turn off the air-con compressor and just with the blower on...few minutes before you stop driving.
This will clear off the water droplets.
If the smell still there, then it must be from the holstery. Try to draw down your windows more often and dry them in the sun.
Cheers!

Get a bowl half full of warm water and squeeze lemon juice into it. Put this is your car for about an hour (while not driving!) and the smell should be gone.
