My daughter is 4 months and I cannot get her to do this. My husband is very good at it though. He does stupid things like dropping socks on her belly, talking to her while looking in a mirror, oh and he also sticks his tongue out at her while making Blahh noises. He gets her cracking up. It's so funny. Also, my 6 year old is sooo good at it too. She does things like making faces at her, talking to her while tickling her. Try some of these. Hope they work. Good Luck!

Children learn tons by emulation (seeing and repeating). Do interesting things to/with him and then laugh yourself. He'll get the idea that what you're doing is supposed to be fun/funny.
