I can't find the CD drive anywhere. It is not appearing on my computer or on any CD associated programmes. Help!

could be two reasons

1 its not attached from inside

2 window is not reading it and it need software installation

Some rogue programs may corrupt your cd driver. You would need to reinstall your cd driver.
Navigate to Control Panel > Click on System > Hardware > Click on Device Manager
Check if you can spot your cd drive there. If yes, delete it by rt click.
Reinstall using the add hardware button. Restart.
Should work fine for you.

goto add new new hardware via control panel and search to new attachment devices or upgrade your config.sys and autoexec.bat through cd-driver software provide to you by manufacturer

simple! your browser must have no spy ware installed .
thats why it has happened .
you may have your driver disc install again to repair the problem
if no solution
check connections manually

click on the start menu, go to "my computer" it should be there, mines C: drive...not sure if it's the same on all computers but it should be located in "my computer" file anyway.
