What does Santa do when a house does not have a chimney or there is a fire burning in the fire place?
Santa likes to keep a few things secret so he can always surprise the kids he is visiting -- all he will say to this question is that he uses a little magic but he *always* finds a way!

Someone has even marketed Santa's magic keys, just for those who don't have a chimney!

NORAD says if you don't have a chimney, Santa finds other ways to enter your home -- so consider reprogramming your security alarms. A small herd of spooked reindeer on your front lawn isn't a pretty sight. http://realtytimes.com/rtcpages/20041224_santa.htm
You can e-mail your question directly to Santa from this site:

Perhaps the book titled "Santa: My Life and Times" will help eliminate all the questions! http://www.cnn.com/books/news/9812/24/santa.lifeandtimes/index.html

One aspect of Christmas that we all seem to overlook is its magic.
It's a magical time when a lot of us come together in Peace and good will- so yes, Santa will come even if you don't have a chimney and if need be use that special red ribboned key that others have mentioned.
Which I might add is a wonderful idea.

yes, my little sister just asked me how he'll get in, because we don't have a chimney, and we have a special santa key that we put on the door for him to get in through the door, if not he'll find his ways, he'll create his own chimney

We have a Santa Key, if people do not the Disney movie The Santa Clause shows that he goes through the heating system vent and what ever you use to heat your house ( radiator ) becomes a fire place.

When I was a child my Mom & Dad gave me an old key with a red ribbon attached and told me to leave it outside our house so that Santa could come in and drop off the gifts. They still do it for my youngest sibling.
