I guess they believe that wild animals can be domesticated just like other animals. Wild animals are popular because they are seen as exotic. The only problem is that when you take a wild animal from the wild you are tearing away its animal instinct for survival they weren't meant to depend on humans for shelter or food... I have to admit seeing a baby tiger it seems so cute but um THEY GROW UP!!

I go into the Woods/Forest behind my house. It hard to stay away from wild animals in the Forest. But, I do understand Animals and know the instincts of those I come into contact with. I have never been hurt and find it a sad situation when I hear of a person getting hurt. Most time, common sense and a knowledge of the animal can safe a person's life.
I do see your point, just like people driving cars. Why drive a car when people know how dangerous people are, there probably more people killed on the road than by wild animals, but, they just keep getting back on the road.

Exactly. However, some people are allured to the exoticness of wild animals and like to keep them as pets.
I, on the other hand, think differently. I would not WANT a wild animal as a pet because they are wild and they can be dangerous. I'd rather settle on a dog or a cat.

...because after all, those people are the wild animals, not the animals itself is the wilds with an evolutionary brain like ours.
Most of this people does this to make money on this animals, (lots of money, not for love), like those magician in Las Vegas, for example. I can't buy that someone whom really love animals, would use them to make their living.

Because honestly there are people who are assholes which are bored. They have nothing better to do with there life. They decide to go pick on a WILD ANIMAL, which are minding there business. These are the folks that we will see on the news died. Basically,they are looking for attention and people are stupid. Example, you have people who like to shop, then you have people who want attention. There you have it.

You're right about that. One thing that's so terribly annoying to me, is when you get people who "love the animals SO much", and then they go to their territory to film them and talk about how much they love them and want to save them. Then next thing you know, you're seeing on the news that they got their a s s e s ripped apart by the animals. So then they've succeeded in doing nothing but making people hate and fear the animals more. (Like that guy who recently got killed by a bear.) Just leave them alone, already.

They should be left alone. This includes zoos, rodeos, bull foghting and circuses. Also lab testing. Live and let live. When something goes wrong, it is ALWAYS the animals' fault, ALWAYS!

Well, technically it's a free country until you step on someone else's rights, and putting their own lives in danger doesn't apply.

A good friend of mine got his gonads bit by a wild pig while visiting Smokey Mountain National Park.
Think he learned his lesson?
I have more thoughts if you are interested(-;
