You should get these both:
Spyware Terminator (9): http://www.spywareterminator.com/
SpyBot Search and Destroy (8.5): http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/spy...

SOME SECURITY TIPS à
1.Never use more than one anti-virus or firewall. There is a good possibility that they will fight each other. However, you can use as many anti-spywares as you wish.
2.Always keep the real time scanning/resident shield of your anti-virus and any one of your anti-spyware active, especially while downloading something from file sharing networks.
3.Keep all your security software updated, and scan your computer for spyware every 1 week and for viruses every 2 weeks.

Hello,

All the following programs I have personally used myself and I would highly recommend to you ( I have 10yrs+ experience in IT industry and trained to MCSE windows 2000 advanced server). All these programs are freeware with regular internet updates, the updates are also free. Spybot is especially good with trojen detection although the scanning speed isnt fast but its very deep & very through, leaves no stone unturned.

I have one called Spyware Terminator that seems O.K. and I would recommend a blocker called SpywareBlaster, sorry no link but a Google or similar should find them.

There are many at Cnet.com or download.com or tucows.com. Highly recommended by all these is Ad-Aware SE by Lavasoft. It is free for download and is one of the best available. I have it and it does the job admirably.
