Hi I'm 18 weeks pregnant I had to visit a specialist in maternal and fetal medicine yesterday they said I had Antiphosphilipid Syndrome and I have to give myself 2 shots per day I am terrified I hate needles but I have no choice I know it's for the health of my baby so has anyone here ever have to go through a similar situation and was it hard for you to actually put a needle into your own stomach?

The needles are so tiny you can hardly even feel them...believe me, it's no big deal. Just pinch the skin, and stick it right in. You'll be surprised at how easy it actually is once you do it.

The hardest part is the initial stick! I almost fainted the first time! It was just an allergy shot though with the tiniest needle I could buy. I finally made my husband do it. The doctor walked him through the exact technique a couple times and was a breeze after that!
