I'm not sure if you're referring to the actual discs or the music on the discs. After the above happens (blank CD made). The will usually have a collection of high-speed, high-density burners. Sort of like your computer, but the lasers burn a deeper image on the CD. After it is burned, it is packaged and shipped.

The data is pressed into plastic disks by a kind of piston with the pattern of data on its end in the form of pits and bumps. The disks are then given their reflective metal, and a plastic coating that doesn't work (because we scratch it) for protection
