The purpose is to live and enjoy life. Think of all the beauty of the earth and in the heavens. Mankind has created for himself a world of bitterness and hatred, a world of sickness and disease. In spite of it all, we can awake to a new day every day with a chance to begin again. My personal belief is that life will not always be like this, not because of man's intentions but because a loving God has given us the opportunity to govern our own lives and we have done poorly. The Bible promises that he will step in and straighten matters, causing wars to cease and mankind to enjoy the glorious freedom as the children of God.

Certainly "Knowing" or assuming a purpose takes knowledge, time, and experience, and even then, in some, such as you, may still not give a definitive answer,,, NO OFFENSE.
We can't Know, or define a purpose without cognitive thought, and Thinking can be overwhelming anyway, even for the "Thinkers"
More directly, our species seems to gain levels of feeling fulfilled, when procreation happens. Most want "purpose" and maybe we all ask the questions, without ever getting answers, but LIFE is kinda like a test, even among sub species. The test may be defined by you, and others, as one administered by a GOD, or the Universe.
Perhaps then, in that context, the TEST relates closely to procreation, growth, life, death, and renewal,,, just to keep the test going?

Perhaps the "Administrator" hasn't come up with all the conclusive answers yet either?

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

We are not purposeful at all...... and that is neither here nor there because purpose makes sense only when capability matches. We are so small in relation to this huge diverse universe that we need to realise our limitations and keep wisely away from grand purposes which belong to the nature i.e. the soul of this universe. We should first learn to live reasonably peacefully with each other within the family, the society, the nation and the world before imagining we can have any meaningful collective purpose or direction, if at all!!

We don't need a purpose. What does a purpose represent? It represents what we can use something for. The purpose of a piece of paper is to write on the purpose of a cup is to hold liquid. What is the purpose of a tree, or grass, or the colors of a butterfly? There is none. No reason for us to be here beyond the reason we superimpose upon our situation, and that reason is FALSE! It is made up in our infinite imagination. (By the way, what purpose does that have?) But you know what, its OK that we do not have a purpose, a reason to live, because living has many facets that we can take heart in, it is just that purpose is not one of them.

i think of that's purely area of our organic and organic wiring. mandatory that a definite proportion accomplish that for the species to proceed. we are over hitting that mark however at this element. duplicate does not could be anybody's very own meaning. there are a number of those that don't have babies yet experience they have finished and significant lives. i think of the understanding meaning gets slightly subjective and perplexed at circumstances. what's important to a minimum of one won't be to a distinctive. i think of significant relationships and loving others might actual upload meaning to maximum human beings and the human beings they enjoyed lives whether it is likewise not a mandate the two and there could properly be some that discover meaning someplace else. I study some Buddhist monk who chosen to stay far off from society interior the wooded area meditating, recording his insights, and residing in team spirit with nature and felt it became into for him a significant and worthwhile thank you to stay.

"Life is not an eternal search for God: Life is an Eternal Expression of God."
What do you think of this statement? Moreover, the level of evolution that we have achieved so far only shows us how far we can truly reach. Existence is God experiencing God’s self through us and all of life. We are individual, unique, divine, aspects of the whole seeing itself through our different perspectives. This is the essence of life, to experience all things in all ways and to expand to undreamed of levels of awareness and creativity. So my main question is this. Should we not unleash ourselves from our own self-contained ideology and rhetoric and understand the unlimited nature of the universe which is God? This is Life! This is ever evolving evolution! We are how the Universe creates itself, that is how important we are!

It goes back to Darwin's theory of natural selection. Not everyone is lucky enough to produce offspring... Only the "fittest" survive and hence pass on the good genes to their offspring. But you are correct, we are innately programmed to procreate so that evolution can run its course and naturally "select" the superior from the weak

No, the purpose may have to do with just living itself, giving to others, and enjoying each other.

'Human beings' is a state of involution and 'Divinity 'is a state of evolution.
Some life time you will return to "Source" which is Life - Light -Victory - Freedom over all human limitations/qualifications. God Actualization is the reason for Being!
