While I do believe that many liberals hate the war and the administration so much that they do not care if America loses the war, I think it is a disservice to say that they don't care about the loss of human life. There are extreme amounts of dishonesty on both sides of this debate and it clouds the real issues we should be discussing regarding the war. True conservatives believe in honesty and integrity. Posts like this do nothing but damage that reputation and ultimately hurt the credibility of all conservatives. I for one wish people would post honest statements and stop trying to deningrate the other side in an attempt to score cheap political points.

I don't believe that they don't care about the soldiers lives.
I just think they aren't using their brains to realize that the way they are going about trying to bring about change may be doing more harm than good.

That's like saying, "Is President Bush actually fooling anyone that, after sending thousands of young men and women off to die, he actually cares about their lives?"
I"m sure you posted the question just to get people angry - but that old chestnut has pretty much lost its power. Nobody goes along with it anymore - or didn't you see the last election results?

They aren't fooling me. They appear to be concerned with financing the war, and the wasteful social programs that will be cut to do so.
