There are three important descriptions of a growing human being, in the statement: "good citizens", "good workers" and "adults". In fact, a good worker with maturity and the right attitude is also a good citizen, and therefore a good adult who contributes to the society around, with his work output and mature adult behaviour all around -- for which a good school prepares a student through basic education supplementing the formal curriculum and syllabus, by ensuring good environment in the school, by promoting extra curricular healthy activities serving to make the students responsible adult individuals, individuals with well developed personality, with the right amount of civic sense: yes, the school does help the student to develop into much more than just 'adult' in a biological sense!
