Hi, I want to make my own blouse patterns but I dont know how to judge how big or small to make them. I also really liked a blouse that I saw online and I tried to find the pattern for it but it seems that nobody in the U.S. carries it because its a japanese brand blouse pattern. So my question is, how do I make a good pattern and does anyone know where I can find japanese brand patterns for blouses??? oh, and lastly, how can I copy the pattern of the blouse I saw online?? thanks guys!!

Buy the blouse and take it apart. Make a patter from that. That's the easiest way. Then you can start from that basic pattern and alter to make new ones.

Just drag the image unto your desktop, If you cant, then get an artistic person to sketch it for you, or, take a picture of it ! i love to design my own things & I love to wear unique things that I won't see anyone in. When you get your picture, then go out & try to find creative things that look almost like what's in the picture.... I'm sure you'll be able to average the size, & if not, then choose whatever you think looks cute! Good luck Chica.
