Did you just start him on formula? My son's poops were yellow and seedy while he was breastfed, but turned a guacamole green after he started on formula.
Note to other posters: If her baby is only 3 months old, he isn't going to be on solids yet (at least I hope not). Green poop is perfectly normal and nothing and isn't a sign of something wrong. Iron supplementation turns baby poop black. He is too young to be drinking water alone - he needs food! And I have never heard of green poop being related to colic - I've always heard that colic is gas...

Don't worry, as long as they don't go bright green or frothy it's fine. It's quite normal for babies' poo to be this colour, especially if they're bottlefed - it's something to do with the formula.
If you're breastfeeding then it depends what you've been eating. Mostly the poo will be yellowish, but I seem to remember this changes and they get a bit more solid as they get older.
Hope this helps.

my daughters poos have been green since birth (well, aprt from the initial black sticky ones) and she is 14 weeks.
It is because all they eat is milk. Wait till he gets onto solids - they will be multicolured and stink to high heaven!

Are you breastfeeding? It may be because baby isn't getting enough of the fatty hind milk.

Are you breastfeeding? If you are-whatever you eat turns into milk for baby. So if you are not then it is probably his formula. Have it changed! Green poo is not healthy while on formula. Like I said if you are breastfeeding only is it normal.

This can be a sign of colic .Does your baby appear to be in pain?Try giving frequent amounts of cooled, boiled water or get some colic drops from chemist if you think colic could be the problem

This depends on what you are eating if you are breastfeeding... If you've just recently started formula you will see definite changes.
