What is the average PC screen resolution in the UK?

1024x768 for 15" and 17" CRTs also for 15" TFT
1280x1024 for 19" CRT and 17" and 19" TFT

17" TFT are dirt cheap now and most manufacturers are no longer selling 15". So you do the math.

I've been using 1024x768 on my TFT for the last 3 years, and is great!

Probably the most common resolutions on most modern systems are 1024x768 and 1280x1024. It all depends upon your hardware. And your eyesight. ;)
